Friends!

God really answered our prayers! We were praying for a couple that we could really connect with as well as have a blast with...and he gave us both! We met Andrew & Vanessa Shaw through the Other Half group (Andrew & Shawn are co-chairs: it's a group within the med school that plans activities for those who have significant others) and now we spend at least one night a week with them just hanging out, going to our favorite restaraunts, movies, or just talking until the wee hours of the morning! They are from the west coast too (Cali) so we both know what it's like to adapt to the weather here! They are such a blessing and we are so greatful for them! There is another couple that we spend time with (from OSU as well) named Jeff & Laura, and she is pregnant, due in March! It will be fun to watch them as they adapt to their new lifestyle ;o) (Maybe I'll get some tips?)

We attend church and spend time with a friend that I grew up with at Trinity Bible Church (where we got married) and her husband (Vanessa & Jonny), who just happened to move to Columbus one month before we did! Totally a God-thing!
