Shawn and I went with some people from our church to a prison in Marion to hold a worship service for some of the Christian inmates. It was one of the most powerful experiences we've ever had. They had four inmates come up during the service and give their tesimonies. These men had commited crimes when they were in their late teens and have spent more years in prison that we've been alive. They had such incredible stories and have been through so much in their lives. We learned so much from them and can honestly say that they are more on fire for God than most people we know.

There's a book you should read called "Dead Man Walking" by Prejean. It's about a nun who befriends men on death row. . .incredibly powerful. What inspired you to be part of the group.
