Doug told me he wanted to remodel the resident call room at OSU East Hospital. So I went to see what we would be working with. OMG. The walls were all white, there was an old, disgusting couch and old tv in the "living room" area and each room had a lamp sitting on the floor with no shade or light bulb. Pretty much the saddest thing I've ever seen and I couldn't imagine how they could stand to sleep there! So Doug and I bought a couch, rug, chairs, flat screen tv & dvd player, night stands, picture frames for the walls and got all of the residents to help paint the rooms. Now it looks better than my house.
